Common Questions

Things Families Usually Ask

Who are the sessions designed for?
Sessions are open to any adult household member — parents, adult children, co-parents, or extended family. Some workshops allow older teenagers to join alongside adults. All content is general and educational, not tailored to any individual situation.
Is this counselling or therapy?
No. Kinford offers community education and skills workshops only. Facilitators are not licensed practitioners and do not provide individual assessments or personal guidance. If you are looking for professional support, we can point you toward appropriate local resources.
How many people attend each session?
Communication Sessions run with 6–14 participants to allow for group discussion and practice activities. Membership workshops may be larger. The Shared Planning Toolkit is a self-paced resource with no group attendance required.
Do I need to speak Thai?
No. All sessions are facilitated in English with Thai support available. Written materials are provided in both languages. Kinford welcomes expatriate and mixed-nationality families as well as Thai households.
What is included in the Shared Planning Toolkit?
The toolkit includes editable document templates (shared calendar, contact directory, document folder structure), a printed how-to guide in English and Thai, and a short onboarding session to walk you through setup. It is a one-time purchase with no recurring fees.
How do prices and payment work?
Prices are listed in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is requested before or at the first session. We accept bank transfer and cash. Please contact us to confirm current session dates and availability before making payment.
